Ok well the DVD was supposed to come out in early November but for those of us in the states, it looks like we have to wait until the first of the year. Such is life, right? Amazon.com gives it a January 25, 2005 release date.

The new Collins family member is on the way. Wishing Phil all the best with that.

On November 6th, Phil received an award from UNESCO for the work he has done with the Little Dreams Foundation.

Phil has his own section at his official forum where he will read selected questions and post answers to them. I highly suggest you go here and read till your heart's content.

Greetings!! Let's talk about 9/22/04 in Philly, shall we? Actually, I posted at the forum so here's what I wrote and BTW, my name on there is OutByFriday which might explain the OBF at the end.

I know there have already been some posts about the show last night, but I would like to submit my own.
First of all, WOW!!! And THANK YOU PHIL!!! I have NO idea what that guy from Dallas was smoking when he went to see Phil. That was SUCH a good show. High energy. Beautiful music. Phil was at the top of his game!
We had section 5 tickets and they were great seats! When everybody
stood up, I had a little trouble seeing but Phil moved around so much it didn't really matter. And he had screens on either side....AND he had that upper part to the stage.
Bravo! I did not write down all the songs he did, but he did the best ones I think. Sussudio, Hang in Long Enough, Another Day in Paradise, Against All Odds, Something Happend on the Way to Heaven, Seprate Lives, Don't loose my number, In the Air Tonight (awsome drum kit entrance!!), Easy Lover, Come With Me...to name a few.
The highlights for us was when he played 'Missunderstanding' and he had the origional video playing behind him. That was also a hoot with 'I Missed Again'.
The BEST songs I thought were 'True Colours' and 'It's Not Too Late'. The harmony on True Colours were almost too much to take. And to do 'It's Not Too Late' right before 'Take Me Home' was just outstanding!
The crowd was great as well! I acted upon my total nerdness and sent my camera back to the car with my Father. I am SUCH a dingbat! They hardly checked us and everyone inside was taking pictures the whole night! Kicking myself for the rest of time over that one!! So I am definatley going to partake of the offer that is in the program - to get a picture from whatever night you attended. *what a great idea!*
And of course when 'Take me Home' started and I knew it was coming to an end, I cried and cried and cried!
You belive it? He did reiterate the fact that it was his last tour so I guess this is it.
He was also very gracious to everyone and thanked us numerous times for coming to see the show and supporting him and Genesis throughout the years.
I ended my trip back to Bristow, VA by playing 'Take Me Home' from the 'Serious Live' cd. What a way to end a perfect 24 hours. It's a shame I now have to take down my 'Philly or Bust' sign from my car. *sigh*
Thank you, Phil. Thank you so much for giving this life long fan of yours something to remember you by after your days of touring are over. You have been an inspiration to me and everyone else that is on this forum.
Thank you again to Krissi for giving me this opportunity. There are no words to truly express how thankful I am and no words that can truly describe how good that concert was last night.
Thanks for leting me blab on!
~*OBF
P.S. Also, if there is anyone out there that has any good shots of Philly from last night...PLEASE share! It would be ever so appreciated!

So that was Philly. I just can't say Thank you enough. If you are interested, click on this to find a link to a live performance of True Colors which can also be found on the forum if you have trouble getting it here.

So on to 'Love Songs' BUY IT!!!! If you haven't gotten it yet, STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING, FIND YOUR NEAREST BEST BUY AND OR TARGET AND PURCHASE THIS CD!! I of course just thought it was a compelation cd with his 'love songs' that have been hits. It is that, but it also has the love songs that mean something to him on there. AS WELL AS live performances of 'My Girl', 'Always', 'Seperate Lives' and *which just gave me chills* 'The Way You Look Tonight'...as in 'juuust thinking oooof you..and the way you look...tonight'. It also contains a previously unreleased song called 'Tearing and Breaking' which is awesome AND the version of 'True Colors' that is on the cd is done in the way that Phil has been doing it on the tour. A Cappella with his 'posse'. Too cool.

Greetings all. As my front page says, please be patient with me as I update my page and get rid of dead links and add new things. As always, the official site has updated info on Phil's tour and new pictures from the tour, which is where this picture comes from. Isn't it great?!?.

Tour merchandise is now available! Go to Bandmad.com and let your eyes do the browsing. I must interject here and say...Phil Collins condom? What the heck is that?

The 'Love Songs' cd will be released in October along with an 8 hour DVD featuring all sorts of goodies. Be sure to be on the look out for it.

11. Taken In
12. Everybody Gets A Second Chance
13. A Beggar On A Beach Of Gold

And finally, the best news of all is that I was blessed enough to find someone on the forum at the official Phil site, who had 2 tickets that they needed to get rid of for the Philly 9.22 show. I am and will be forever greatful! Thank you again Krissi! I'll write on the site how the show went when I get back. As for now, there are no words to describe how happy I am.

Alas, Phil has decided not to come to my area during this tour. Not quite sure the reason, but hey - life moves on. He announced a second date for New York's Madison Square Garden for September 18, 2004.

In the meantime, Phil has designed shirts and a greeting card for a company called Angelwear. The proceeds from the sale of the shirts goes to the Child Welfare League of America.

Phil has a new platinum collection of 3 cds that was released on May 31st of this year. The cds that are included are Face Value, No Jacket Required, and But Seriously. The track listings follow the origional listings on the recordings, and yes for those of us who still own the tape of No Jacket Required, 'We Said Hello Goodbye' is included in this set.

Even more dates have been announced!! I am still patiently (not) waiting for anywhere near D.C. Maybe the last four will be it! Please visit the official tour info page for more information.
Also, American Idol contestant George Huff kicked butt last week, even if Simon didn't think so, on Against All Odds. Quentin Tarintino didn't think so either, but such is life :).

Hello everyone! Now I am a big fan of American Idol. And I have a thing for sappy nice guys. So who would be surprised to find out that...like most women...I love....William Hung!! Yes this phenomenon has taken me over too. I have fallen into his trap. So of course I was stunned to find him singing Two Worlds from the Tarzan soundtrack this week on the American Idol rejects show! It was exclusive fotage not seen by the public when he did his origional audition. I was loving it!! He kicked major tail! Go William Hung!!

Also this week, it was a pleasant Oscar show....with a plesant music line up...Sting included. Sting was also on hand with...ours truly to present an award.

Big news on the tour front. USA dates have been announced!!!! He will be playing the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim on August 26th as well as the the Gund Arena, Cleveland, OH on September 11th, 2004. Tickets will go on sale on March 8th at 10:00AM, and April 17th at 10:00am, resepectivley. A very delayed happy new year to you! Sorry about the lack of upkeep to this site. I wish I had the time to do more. Over the next few weeks I hope to have this place back up to date. A belated birthday to you, Phil, Peter and Steve. And here is the latest news.

Could it be? The last one? Will he come here? It has not been announced yet if he plans to tour the states. If I find out that he is going to, you will know it! Find out more at the offical website.

There is a new DVD out released last November of the 1987 Invisible Tounch tour. The track listing is as follows: Mama,Abacab, Domino Part 1, logically....Domino Part 2, That’s All, *one of my all time favorites* Brazilian, Land Of Confusion, Tonight, Tonight, Tonight, Throwing It All Away, *it's audience participation time!!!* Home By The Sea, Invisible Touch, Drum Duet, *yet again, a true fav of mine* Los Endos, then the twisting turning closing medley: Turn It On Again, Everybody Needs (Somebody To Love), I Can’t Get No Satisfaction, I’ll Be There, You’ve lost That Loving Feeling, Pinball Wizard, In The Midnight Hour, and then back to Turn It On Again. I watched this all the time as a kid...even put my tape recorder up to the TV so I could hear the songs whenever I wanted to. Pretty desperate, eh? Now look how spoiled I could be. If you would like more info on this DVD, please head over to the Genesis Shop and have yourself a party.

--Tony will be putting out a new cd out at the end of March called 'Seven'.

--Steve is going on tour! For details of this, please visit the official website for tour dates and info. Again, I do hope to pay more attention to my lil spot on the web this year. Check back soon. And as always, if you are looking for more info, you know where to go.
